Blake Museum - Bridgwater

The birthplace of Robert Blake (1598-1657), General-at-Sea, the museum houses a fascinating collection of local history and archaeology. There is plenty to see, from life in the earliest settlements to the colourful excitement of Bridgwater Carnival.  The museum also has an association with Channel 4's The Time Team.

    The Museum is in Blake Street. Once at the Museum you can buy the Official Guide Book to Bridgwater, it has a street map at the back.
